Dare to Self Improve

So in the spirit of the last post about speaking up when you normally wouldn’t, I thought I’d share a couple of stories for inspirational purposes.

About a year ago I was in a starbucks near my house reading. A cute girl comes in and sits at a table nearby. For the next twenty five minutes I got no reading done! I kept thinking “Jeez, this is the perfect opportunity to talk to a cute girl! She’s by herself, writing something in some diary looking book, and just waiting for me to say something!” I kept trying to forget about her and get back to reading, but the feeling of me being useless just sitting there was killing me!

I would have been so easy to just sit, read, and not even consider the possibility of talking to a good looking stranger out of the blue. In fact, it was getting late, so I started to convince myself that I should get going but if I had more time, I’d talk to her….lame.

Soooo…what did I do? Well I think you can see where this is going, but I’ll let you sweat for a day
