Know what you eat
So one of the biggest mistakes people make, is eating things they think are healthy, but are actually not good for you at all. I general, you should stay away from most things marketed as “fat free.” Why? Well I suppose they are a better alternative than their “normal” fat-having counterpart, but people tend to over eat things that they think are “healthy.” In reality, these foods still have lots of calories which, when consumed, are not going to lend themselves to you achieving a lean body.
Some other foods that people think are healthy but you avoid: Potatoes, Bread, and Fruit Juice. What do these foods all have in common? They are high in simple carbohydrates. The carbs in potatoes and breads do NOT lend themselves to building lean mass and are pretty much wasted calories. Fruit juice has LOTS of sugar (even if it’s 100% juice) and you dont get all the fiber and antioxidant benefits of eating the fruit itself!
