Goals
So honestly, I DO set New Years goals every year. Hell I even have goals that extend BEYOND one single year. The thing is, unlike most people, I take extra measures to ensure I meet these goals by setting up Monthly and Daily goals. I actually have a spread sheet of the different things I want to accomplish each month. I write it at the beginning, write comments about my progress at mid-month, then do a final written evaluation at the end. This really helps me be active in accomplishing my goals and tracking my progress. Furthermore, I write down a quick list of DAILY goals every morning and cross them off as I finish each one. This is great because I 1) get a lot of stuff done, and 2) don’t feel the burden of having to remember every little thing I have to do that day. Once it’s all written down, I purge my brain of the tasks, and focus on each one as I get to it.
Coming next…holding yourself publicly accountable!
