Dare to Self Improve

Today I’m going to issue all of you a little task. It’s actually relatively easy, and we’ll build on this task tomorrow by upping the anti.

I want you to take the first step and email someone you haven’t spoken or chatted with in a long time. This could be an old good friend or family member, or just a friend who you’d more or less written off as “lost.” One of the things I try to do is to take the first step and initiate contact with people I haven’t spoken with. I have no problem putting myself out there and taking the first step.

Most people let their pride get in the way and have this “well if he/she hasn’t contacted ME, why should I contact them?” Put your silly pride aside, take the first step, and write a nice email to someone you have more or less lost contact with.
