Weight Training
I’ve decided to start a little series about something I spend a lot of time doing…yes, you guessed it. Weight Training! Now I’m not “buff” by any means. I’d say I have a leaner, athletic build, but one can probably tell I do some lifting. I’ve spent quite a few years doing it and have learned different techniques from athletes, bodybuilders, and powerlifters and have blended different aspects to make my own personal training program.
Depending on the reason you are training, means that different techniques may be more or less beneficial to you. For example, if you’re a power lifter, your going to be lifting very heavy weight for very few repetitions. On the other hand, if you’re involved in endurance sports, you’re going to be on the other end of the spectrum.
In this series, I’ll discuss some of the training tricks I use which are actually applicable to the majority of the population who aren’t training hardcore for anything in particular. Stay tuned for some great information!
