		<description>I agree.  People are afraid of the stigma of being alone.  I took a trip to Hong Kong back in March of this year completely alone.  I had some friends I met whle there but I sort of enjoyed being alone and doing my own thing.  It was wonderful.

		<description>You are right, shorter or smaller goals make it more attainable.  When you accomplish something you feel better, so being able to knock something off a list, even something small helps keep you motivated.

		<description>I'm not a big TV fan either. Most of the programs on TV are junk anyway. When we rented in college, my husband and I did not have cable. Now we have it because the other person who lives here has it and pays for it, but I never watch it. Sometimes we'll turn on the news, and often the weather channel, but that's the extent of our viewing. I'm having a baby in 2 months and we don't want her to watch TV either. Sure, we watch movies and sometimes we'll rent very enlightening series from  the library (we just finished the West Wing), but most of the time the tube is off!</description>
